ALEJANDRO JAIME is a trained dancer, teacher, classical musician, composer and dj from Buenos Aires, specialised in composition in contemporary music and improvisation.

He studied in the most important conservatories of his country and performed in numerous international and national festivals.

His teaching method is influenced by biomechanical techniques such as the Fedora Aberastury Method and the Alexander Technique. He has a deep understanding of body awareness and movement thanks to his elite training in Martial Arts.

He has applied his knowledge of music and biomechanics to coach actors, contemporary dancers and, more recently, finalists in the Tango World Championship coming from different countries in Asia and Europe, with very successful results.

As a Tango Dj, he plays for some of the most important events in the European and Asian tango scene. He prefers to combine rhythmic, melodic and dynamic orchestras, and always takes the singers into consideration, especially for orchestras from the Golden Age.

He has over 23 years of experience teaching and has given lectures, seminars and workshops in more 50 cities in Argentina, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Finland, Indonesia, Poland and Russia among others.

His passion for teaching began when he was very young, when helped his classmates with their homework in school or when he shared with friends and schoolmates his study of ...  videogames.

Since then, pedagogy and teaching methodology have been at the core of every professional activity he has developed over the years.

Alejandro was a trainer and instructor in martial arts for the best part of a decade, and he taught classical and popular music both privately and in the public school system for more than nine years.

He also organised workshops, study groups and seminars in musical theory, styles and composition for all-levels students, from young children to adults.

In addition, he developed his own teaching methods based on the field of learning sciences , arts, sports and on the use of neuroscience as a key complement to the development of student drills and exercises.

He is convinced that there is effectively nothing the human brain cannot learn given the right tools, and this is why he was always on the hunt for new insights and didactic instruments to use in his seminars and classes.

with Tango

He taught his first workshops and seminars in Buenos Aires, with a special program that integrated his knowledge of musical theory and biomechanical technique.

He was also a coach in musicality  for couples who were competing in the World Championship and who were finalists in their countries of origin.

His strict methodology is based on the detailed study of biomechanics and its application to musicality, he uses elements from other arts to enrich the total experience of his Workshops.
